Me vs Me is about the internal battle you have with yourself when trying to lose weight. Deep down we know we have good intentions and we want to try but our weaker self just seems to win no matter what we try. When I lost over 100 lbs before I had kids, I battled constantly for almost 5 years off and on. It wasn't until I sat down and wrote down my 'reasons why I must change" and what would happen if I didn't. One of the things that I really wanted to do was compete in a body building competition. The battle was still in my head once I started on my journey to becoming a body builder but this time I noticed the battle was different.
I noticed when I stayed in the fight for at lease 3-4 weeks not giving in to any of my weakness/temptations, it almost seemed as though my "spirit" took over and it was no longer a battle. The "voice" in my head wasn't as loud as it was when I first started out.
The one thing I can honestly say is that - Give yourself 100% effort for at least 3-4 weeks without pause/cheating and see what happens. If by chance you fumble, try again and again until it sticks! You only fail once you quit trying!
